1. I have a high-stakes communication product that I need to release soon.
Do you provide content creation services?

Yes, we also provide writing and graphic design services and do some multimedia work as well. The first step is to book a brainstorm session with Dawn to scope out the project.

2. Some of the people in my organization who need communication training don’t see their skill deficiencies or are resistant to training. Can you help?

Yes, we can! Each engagement starts with a needs assessment process to make sure the training is context-specific and outcomes-driven. In your context, the target outcomes objectives such as increasing self-awareness about communication skills or identifying ways in which communication impacts technical work. We also design training sessions as safe spaces where learners can voice skepticism and ask challenging questions. That’s often the first stage in engaging participants in deep learning.

3. We’ve tried training before, and it didn’t seem to make much of an impact.
How is your approach different?

We don’t teach communication for communication’s sake. We teach communication as an integral part of the technical work your experts do. This means they can quickly apply what they’re learning to authentic communication situations. We also make sure the learning sticks by providing practical tools and frameworks—and we always recommend including opportunities for feedback in the training too.

4. Many of our technical experts speak English as an Additional Language.
Can you help them?

Absolutely! Dr. Dawn Henwood has a certificate in Teaching of English as a Foreign Language and extensive experience working with advanced learners of English from India, Africa, the Middle East, and other regions.

5. Do you offer bilingual training?

Dawn has advanced proficiency in French and can facilitate bilingual sessions (partly in English and partly in French).
